Lesson 3, Page 32.  Add a Double Flat (♭♭) and a Double Sharp (x) to the example box at the top of the page.

Lesson 5, Page 55.  Add the word “Pulse”below the words “Compound Basic Beat” underneath each rhythm.

Lesson 6, Page 73.  In question #1, line #2, measure #7:  Change the interval to F♯ and B. In the second example box, the statement should read:  Augmented interval: lower the bottom note of a Perfect or Major interval one chromatic semitone

Lesson 6, Page 75.  In the 2nd example box, the list at the left side of the box should read Augmented – chromatic semitone – Major (not Perfect) – chromatic semitone – minor – chromatic semitone – diminished.

Lesson 6, Page 78.  In the example box, the Augmented 1st in measure 10 should be written: flat – natural – A – A: (In a Harmonic 1st, the accidental for the first note is written first, followed by the accidental for the second note, followed by the two notes written touching.)

Lesson 6, Page 81.  In question 7, measure 4 (d), the notes of the triad should be: F  D♭  B♭.

Lesson 7, Page 93.  The second question should be question #7 (not question #6).

Lesson 8, Page 99.  In question #2, the first term should be “molto espressivo”.  In question #3, the third definition should be “fast but not too much”

Lesson 9, Page 112.  #7a should read: the SUPERTONIC (ii) triad of E Major in root position.

Lesson 10, Page 117.  In the opening paragraph, line #2, the bracket should read: (Perfect V – i or Imperfect i – V, iv – V).  In line #3, the bracket should read: (Perfect V – I or Imperfect I- V, IV – V)

Lesson 10, Page 118.  In the opening paragraph, the Plagal Cadence Roman Numerals should read:  Plagal Cadence (minor) iv – i; (Major) IV – I.

Lesson 10, Page 121.  Change the instruction for #7a to enharmonic relative minor, melodic form, of C sharp Major in the Bass Clef, using the Key Signature.

Lesson 11, Page 125.  In the example box, add the Time Signature (4/4) after the Key Signature for G flat Major.

Lesson 2, Page 27. Add the missing numbers around the Circle of Fifths in Question #1.

Lesson 3, Page 39. REPLACE the missing answer for the second scale in line #1:  For F♯  Major – the tonic minor key is f ♯ melodic .

Lesson 4, Page 50.In question #3, 2nd measure of the answer, the first 2 notes should be 2 eighth notes (and not two quarter notes).  Add the beam to join them.

Lesson 5, Page 62.  #a) – Basic Beat under second measure should be 2 sets of three beamed eighth notes (and not 2 sets of 3 quarter notes).

Lesson 6, Page 73. In question #1, line 2, measure #7, the interval was changed to F♯ and B (a Perfect 4).  The answer will then be F♯ and B♯ (an Augmented 4).
In question #2, line 2, measure 4, add a flat in front of the E.  The answer will be B double flat to E flat.

Lesson 6, Page 78. In question #2, line 2, measure #2, the augmented first on A should be written:          .

Lesson 8, Page 99. In question #3, the answer for “not with freedom of tempo” can be non rubato or non con rubato.

Lesson 9, Page 109. In question #1a, measure #1, the first 3 notes should be joined with a beam (3 eighth notes, not 3 quarter notes).

Lesson 12, Page 140. In question #2, line 2, measure 1, the first rest should be a 32nd rest (not a 16th rest).
