In 1725 J.S. Bach gave his wife Anna Magdalena, (who was a singer and very musical), a special gift. A musical notebook, known as the Anna Magalena Notebook – a collection of several dances, arias, chorales and other pieces of music by Bach, Carl Phillip Emmanuel Bach, Christian Petzold and others.
